Save Image

Save image when a motion was detected: Disable the select box if you do not want to save an image because motion was detected.

Save also the following x images: Keep the value 0 if you want to save images only with motions but use a higher value to continue to save the images after a detected motion. This could be important if somebody enters the view aria but makes movements below the trigger point.

Save only the latest x "motion detection" images: If you select this box and the number is higher or equal to 1 you limit the number of images stored on your destination drive. Please note: The oldest images will be deleted and cannot be restored!

Use the static filename "svc_sv.*" for the latest saved image: Use this option to save the latest captured image always with a static filename. This name is also used for the server upload. This is important e.g. for static HTML documents.

Save image periodically (WebCam) every x s: This configuration allows to save images continuously. Please enter a string like 30 s (seconds), 10 min (minutes) or 1 h (hour).

Save only the latest x "time scheduled" images: If you select this box and enter a number higher or equal 1 you limit the number of images on your destination drive. Please note: The oldest images will be deleted and cannot be restored! The value 1 is recommended if you want to use the program as WebCam or if you want to add a "live image" to you HTML report.

Use the static filename "svc_ts.*" for the latest saved image: Use this option to save the latest captured image always with a static filename. This name is also used for the server upload. This is important e.g. for static HTML documents.

Image format: Select the image format you prefer. BMP is faster if you review the captured images but JPG needs much less space on your hard drive.
Please note that the converting procedure to JPG starts in the background if a new image was saved. If the program captures many images it will take time to convert it into JPG. Saving images always has the highest priority.

Destination Directory: Please enter an available folder for the images. (If you change the folder and close the settings box the images in the new directory will be scanned and listed. The images captured before stay in the old folder.)

Stop capturing if only x MB space remain on the hard disk: Define a limit of free space on your hard drive.
